Menengitis at UVA-W?

Not sure what's fact or if it;s rumor, but did a student at UVA-Wise die from the Flu or Menengitis? Just caught the guys first name but apparantly a Male had a 104 degree temp at a ER they sent him home and he died, people are saying it's one or the other.

There was a local kid (20 yr old) that died in Knoxville (was there for school). This was Monday I believe.
